Lisa Francoeur Mesa is a motivational speaker who specializes in advising corporations on enhancing employee engagement. As the founder of the empowerment life-style brand Fancyfied where her mission is to scale empowerment globally, she builds/facilitates/executes empowerment programs designed to “help people harness the power of positivity, to create new and favorable possibilities”. She has partnered with AARP, LinkedIn, McKinsey, LVMH’s (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy) Guerlain & Dior Beauty on events, workshops, talks, panels, etc. to do so.

Lisa kicked off her career as a Fashion Stylist working with Alicia Keys, Paris Hilton, Lil Wayne and Shakira. From there, she was recruited by a publishing firm GDS International where she sold ads. Being an entrepreneur at heart, her next challenge was running MIH (Make It Happen), an entertainment management consulting firm with her husband. There, she built/executed the sales, PR, marketing strategies and brokered strategic partnerships. Afterward she landed a software sales exec role at Critical Media, launching her career in tech where she has spent the past 10 years. She is presently an Enterprise Relationship Manager for LinkedIn where she manages and consults a portfolio of 40 brands on how to leverage LinkedIn to hire, market and sell their services. She is a branding guru who also consults professionals and corporations on how to optimize their brands especially on LinkedIn.

As a diversity and inclusion champion, Lisa served as the Communications Chair of LinkedIn’s employee resource group, BIG (Black Inclusion Group) for 18 months. She regularly partner with ERGs within LinkedIn such WALI (Women at LinkedIn), externally like BAM (Blacks at Microsoft), etc. to foster/develop a diverse, inclusive culture where all employees feel they belong. Lisa often speaks about tangible, actionable tactics for minorities to empower themselves including at theNational Urban League, Women of Color Empowerment Institute, National Women’s’ Diversity & Leadership conference, NAAHP (National Association Advancement for Haitian Professionals).
